Merck is seeking an Engineering Maintenance & Utilities Specialist for its West Point, PA site. The role supports Building 50/51 and related facilities, with a focus on EMU (engineering maintenance & utilities) across vaccine, bioprocess, and manufacturing operations.

The position begins on 1st shift, with potential coverage for 2nd/3rd shifts to support future building operations. Responsibilities include technical support, equipment reliability efforts, root-cause analysis, PM/CMMS workflows,

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets P&IDs and isometric drawings.
• Knowledge of ASME, NFPA, CFR 1910 and related engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical manufacturing support in EMU (engineering maintenance & utilities).
• Support equipment performance, propose improvements, and troubleshoot processes to ensure GMP compliant operations.
• Lead or assist project-engineering tasks including scope, design, field execution, and documentation.
