Job summary

MannKind Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for line manufacturing equipment on a 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with a 15% shift differential. The role covers installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance per manuals and specifications.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, performing electrical/mechanical tasks, maintaining logs, and data entry in the system.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience.
Vocational or technical training.
1–3 years mechanical maintenance experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of cGMP procedures preferred.
Familiar with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines.
Knowledgeable in calibration and preventive maintenance procedures.
Skilled in maintaining computer database programs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment.
Read and understand technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues or make repairs.
Perform work in electrical, mechanical or machining trades.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and repair.
Assist in installation of new equipment.
Inspect manufacturing equipment operations on a routine basis.
Install new units or replacement parts according to specifications and safety guidelines.
Enter and maintain data in a computerized system.
Assist Maintenance Department with general building maintenance functions.
