Northwell Health in Danbury, CT seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care, document and coordinate patient treatment under the nursing process, and collaborate with the health care team. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and ensuring patient safety during extended shifts.

Requirements include CT RN licensure and BLS certification, with a minimum of six months ED RN experience.

Formación

• CT RN license required.
• BLS required.
• Minimum 6 months of ED RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs assessments in an ongoing and systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive status.
• Formulates a goal directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a skilled, consistent and continuous manner.
• Establishes priorities of patient care based on needs and available resources.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and patient progression toward outcomes.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary functions and ensures compliance with responsibilities.
