Northwell Health is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. The role involves providing professional care to a group of patients during a designated time frame, utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the health care team.

Requirements include CT RN license and BLS, with a minimum of 6 months ED RN experience. Location is Danbury Hospital, 24 Hospital Ave, 7:00pm-7:30am shift, full-time; weekend rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Must hold CT Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 6 months of Emergency Department RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing, systematic patient assessments.
• Develop goal-directed care plans based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Administer care in a skilled, consistent, and continuous manner.
• Prioritize patient care based on needs and resources.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Identify learning needs of patients and families and implement education.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary functions.
• Fulfill all position compliance responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
