Job summary

Required are a nursing degree, 1+ year RN experience, RN license (OK or eNLC), and BLS certification. The role emphasizes safe, compassionate patient care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 1+ years of patient care as an RN.
• License/Certification: RN license (OK State Board of Nursing or eNLC).
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
• Assists physician in examination and minor diagnostic procedures; monitors physiological data.
• Administers medications as prescribed; manages IV infusions and blood products.
