Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City is seeking an Experienced RN for the Pediatric Emergency Department, full-time nights. The RN I provides high-quality hospital care to a range of pediatric cases and supports physicians in examinations and procedures.

The role requires nursing education (Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing), Oklahoma RN licensure, BLS on hire, and 0–3 years of patient-care experience. Emphasis on compassion, teamwork, and OU Health values.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 0-3 years of patient care as a registered nurse.
• License/Certification: Current RN license (OK State Board or multistate compact) and BLS on hire.

Responsibilities

• Align behaviors with OU Health values and nursing standards.
• Assume responsibility for an assigned patient or group.
• Document patient responses and changes in orders.
• Assist physician in examinations and minor procedures.
• Obtain and monitor physiological data and intervene as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Initiate, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
• Deliver patient care safely and competently.
