Job summary

CAREL USA, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Test Technician on the third shift in Manheim, PA. The role focuses on assembling, installing, and testing electrical wiring and components in industrial control panels, with exposure to voltages up to 480V.

You will read schematics, ensure safety, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, technical school accreditation, and electrical safety training (NFPA 70E) preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical work experience (2–4 years) with industrial control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Electrical safety training such as NFPA 70E is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical principles to assemble, install and test electrical wiring and components into industrial control panels.
• Conduct functional testing of energized equipment up to 480V.
• Inspect wiring installations and components for quality and safety.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control on BOMs, drawings, and schematics.
• Lead, coach, or mentor a subordinate group when needed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the workspace; follow PPE requirements.
