Job summary

McCain is seeking an Electronics & Instrumentation Technician for a 12-hour rotating night shift (6pm-6am). The role covers advanced maintenance on plant equipment, including AC/DC circuitry, PLCs, and instrumentation such as temperature and pressure transmitters.

You will calibrate, program, install, and troubleshoot instrumentation while following NEC and OSHA safety standards. Responsibilities include wiring, troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and performing

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Certification and/or Associate Degree in Electronics or Industrial Electrician Degree and/or Computer Hardware Electronics preferred.
Must have prior knowledge of electronics, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance procedures for computer hardware, AC/DC control circuitry, programmable logic controllers, microprocessor controls, and power distribution systems.
Run rigid conduit and pull wire.
Modify and design control circuitry for existing and new equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance per standard procedures.
Calibrate, program, install, and troubleshoot instrumentation such as temperature, pressure, and level transmitters and control valves.
Adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and PPE requirements.
