Job summary

McCain is seeking a Maintenance Processing Technician - Nights to perform maintenance on plant equipment, including lubrication, inspections, and preventative work from a checklist. Our plant runs 24/7 and you will work 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6am, rotating as needed to keep production flowing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (an Associate degree in Mechanical fields is preferred) and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret maintenance instructions, safety rules, and equipment operation.
• Must be able to prepare and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform lubrication of bearings, gears, and chains.
• Carry out preventative maintenance per standard procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Repair and replace equipment or parts as needed.
• Read and interpret maintenance reports and drawings.
