Job summary

Baldwin Richardson Foods Company is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance on electromechanical and electrical systems, instrumentation, and PLCs to support safe and efficient production. The Maintenance Department operates on a 2-2-3, 12-hour shift schedule (6:00PM–6:30AM) with a rotating pattern.

Experience with GMP/OSHA/FDA standards, schematics, and ladder logic is required, and overtime may be necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of electrical and electromechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience in manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience troubleshooting to identify root-cause issues on electrical equipment or components.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics, instrumentation, and controls.
• Experience with GMP/OSHA/FDA/EPA standards in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Able to read ladder logic and diagnose production issues.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical components including motors, servos, VFDs, and PLCs.
• Provide technical support to Operations and train staff as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with equipment and process expertise.
• Maintain electrical systems through preventive maintenance programs.
• Identify and replace faulty electrical components and programs as required.
