Job summary

Baldwin Richardson Foods Co. (BRF) is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on electromechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.

You will support production with minimal supervision, focusing on safety and efficiency in a food manufacturing setting. Our Maintenance Department runs a 2-2-3, 12-hour shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with a night shift differential of $1.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; two-year associate degree or equivalent trade training preferred.
• Minimum of three years electrical/electromechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI, VFDs, and related controls.
• Familiar with GMP/OSHA/FDA/EPA standards in food/pharma environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on electromechanical systems.
• Repair, modification, installation, and testing of electrical equipment and PLCs.
• Read ladder logic and program updates; support PM optimization.
• Maintain electrical systems and coordinate with Operations for uptime.
• Utilize CMMS to document maintenance actions and asset health.
• Provide training support to operations for first level maintenance.
