Baldwin Richardson Foods Company in Texas is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance on electromechanical and electrical systems, instruments, and PLCs, ensuring production remains safe and efficient.

Qualifications

HS Diploma required; two-year associate degree, licensing, or equivalent trade school technical training is highly preferred, but applicable experience may be considered.
At least three (3) years of electrical and electromechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience in manufacturing settings.
Experience troubleshooting to identify root-cause issues on electrical equipment or components.
Experience in GMP/OSHA/FDA/EPA compliant environments is preferred for food/pharma manufacturing.
Proficient reading of electrical schematics, instrumentation, and controls.

Responsibilities

Follow GMPs to safeguard personal safety, product safety, and company property.
Complete preventive maintenance on all equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Support continuous improvement by providing equipment and process expertise.
Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical components including motors, servos, VFDs, and PLCs.
Use electrical expertise to support process and support equipment troubleshooting.
Maintain electrical systems through preventive maintenance programs.
Provide technical support to Operations for training and cross-training.
