Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Technician I for a C shift in the Maintenance department near Reno, Nevada. The role focuses on the timely execution of repair and preventive maintenance activities across the facility, with emphasis on equipment reliability and process improvement.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot, read blueprints, and collaborate with teams to sustain uptime, product quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading blueprints and performing preventative maintenance.
• Effective communication and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and hold accountable the maintenance teams on shift to perform planned and emergency maintenance.
• Evaluate hourly personnel to determine training needs and develop skills.
• Maintain uptime, throughputs and product quality, and update systems daily.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and execute shift plans for PM and capital projects.
• Identify continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities.
