Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking an Electrical Tester I for the 2:00pm to 10:30pm shift. You will perform repetitive electrical testing preparation and testing tasks of basic complexity, ensuring conformance to standards and safety in a manufacturing setting.

You will inspect equipment, document actions, and work with drawings and BOMs. Prior manufacturing exposure is valued; good reading skills in English and basic computer use are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Able to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Able to read drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Basic computer skills and English instruction comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect product prior to testing to ensure conformance to standards.
• Inspect testing equipment and test booth/cage for proper operation.
• Prepare product for test by safely making required connections.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Assist and train others in testing tasks as needed.
• Inspect all work to ensure it meets requirements before passing to next operation.
