Job summary

Edgewell Personal Care in Knoxville, TN is seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance technician for night shift (7:30pm–7:30am). You will perform maintenance, repair, setup, and adjustment of various machines and equipment to ensure safe, reliable production.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance, knowledge of the National Electric Code, PLC inputs/outputs, and the ability to interpret gauges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum five years hands-on experience in industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret instruments and gauges.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Understanding of PLC inputs/outputs (analog 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, repair, setup and adjustment of department machines and equipment.
• Diagnose machine trouble and determine necessary repairs.
• Disassemble and replace worn or defective parts; reassemble and test.
• Follow established preventive maintenance schedules and conduct machine checkout.
