Job summary

Gannett Publishing Services / USA TODAY CO in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Electrician / Mechanical Technician for night/evening shifts to maintain and repair automated printing equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, wiring, PLC/networking, and preventative maintenance while following NEC and OSHA regulations.

The role requires 3 years of industrial electrical/maintenance experience and the ability to work alone or on a team.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial electrical/maintenance experience.
• Experience with voltages up to 600V.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment breakdowns.
• Use analog, digital test equipment and electrical tools.
• Work with networked I/O PLC networks and industrial networking.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair DC drives and Servo drives.
• PLC troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Follow NEC and OSHA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
