Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician toMaintain machinery and facilities at the Downers Grove site. Responsibilities include PMs, welding, machining, electrical and mechanical repairs, and installing new equipment.

You will follow safety procedures and contribute to 5S and continuous improvement. The role requires hands-on experience with CNC equipment (DMG Mori, Okuma, Okamoto), blueprints, and CMMS documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proof of technical training or 4-year related program completed.
• 10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals for repairs.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting CNC equipment and related brands.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant machinery.
• Install, align, assemble and commission new equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems across all departments.
• Document repairs and PM work in CMMS; manage spare parts and costs.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations in all tasks.
• Train others on PM, welding, machining, and equipment care.
