Job summary

Regal Rexnord is hiring an experienced Electrical and Mechanical maintenance technician at the Downers Grove facility. The role covers maintenance of machinery, equipment, and plant systems with duties including PMs, repairs, welding, machining, and wiring installations.

The position emphasizes safety and continuous improvement in 5S and productivity. The successful candidate will work on various departments, perform preventive maintenance, and train others on maintenance processes, with a shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proof of technical training in electronic systems or a certified program.
• 10 years of experience repairing production machines in industrial manufacturing.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery, equipment, and facilities across the Downers Grove site.
• Perform preventative maintenance, welding, machining, and electrical/mechanical repairs as needed.
• Install, align, assemble, and service new equipment; maintain safety and 5S practices.
• Document repairs and PMs in CMMS; train others on PM and repair procedures.
• Promote safety and follow OSHA and internal safety standards.
