Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, a trusted name in snacks, is growing and hiring experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for our 103 Kindig Lane Facility in Hanover, PA. This full-time role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated conveyor systems and high-speed packaging equipment, with a Friday–Sunday shift 5:55 PM–5:55 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
• Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technology.
• Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 30 ft.
• Experience in food manufacturing or packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment.
• Work with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation.
• Install, wire, and maintain electrical components like relays, motors, and panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracy.
• Install conduit, EMT, and sealtite to support upgrades.
