Job summary

Utz Brands, Inc. in Hanover, PA is seeking motivated Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for our High Street facility. This full-time Weekend Shift will keep automated conveyor lines and high-speed packaging equipment running, handling troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across each shift.

Schedule: Friday–Monday, 5:55AM–5:55PM. We offer a competitive sign-on and retention bonus to attract top talent.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technology.
Diagnosing issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels.
Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 30 feet.
Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail.
Experience in food manufacturing or packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and repairing advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment
Working with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation
Installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical components like relays, motors, and panels
Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep things running smoothly
Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracy
Installing conduit, EMT, and sealtite independently to support system upgrades and expansions
