Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking motivated Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for our High Street facility on the Weekend Night Shift. Youll keep our automated conveyor lines and high-speed packaging equipment running, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
• Valid driver s license with clean record.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse tech; skilled in sensors, relays, VFDs, and panels.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work height up to 30 ft.
• Experience in food manufacturing/packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment.
• Work with PLCs, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation.
• Install, wire, and maintain electrical components like relays, motors, and panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Install conduit, EMT, and sealtite to support upgrades and expansions.
