Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, a trusted name in snacks, is seeking experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for the Hanover, PA facility. You will support automated conveyor systems and high-speed packaging equipment, focusing on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires shift Thursday? Friday - Sunday 5:30 AM- 5:30 PM, with a sign-on and retention bonus as part of our commitment to bringing top talent into the Utz family.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
• Experience working with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technology.
• Skilled in diagnosing issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment.
• Work with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automation.
• Install, wire, and maintain electrical components like relays, motors, and panels.
