Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician in Gilroy, CA, to join a leading packaging manufacturer. This overnight role focuses on troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems (PLCs, motors, drives) and mechanical components, with PM programs to maximize uptime.

You’ll work with operations and maintenance teams, log work orders digitally, and contribute to a high-performing, safety-conscious site. No degree is required; 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems (PLCs, AC/DC motors, drives, schematics) and core mechanical components (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmissions).
• Predictive & preventive maintenance: perform root-cause failure analysis and PM schedules to maximize machine uptime.
• Collaborative problem solving: work alongside operations and maintenance partners to resolve complex technical hurdles efficiently.
• Continuous learning: cross-train across various technical disciplines to expand your skillset and boost your industry capabilities.
• Digital work orders: manage parts, work orders, and maintenance logs using modern computer management systems.
