Job summary

Randstad USA in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, follow PM schedules, and help prevent equipment downtime on the third shift.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of experience, a High School diploma, and a readiness to operate standard maintenance tools and, if needed, a forklift. This role requires attention to safety, teamwork, and the ability to work 11 PM to 7 AM.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections on assigned equipment per Preventive Maintenance Schedule (ISO Form 11-01-01-B).
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and unsafe conditions.
• Respond to and complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Use proper tools and techniques to perform tasks safely.
• Research, order, and prepare spare parts cost-effectively.
• Report potential problems to the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate a forklift if required.
• Cleans shop and parts area at shift end.
• Other duties as assigned.
