Job summary

US Acute Care Solutions is seeking a night-shift ED Scribe at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL. The scribe supports the ED provider by documenting and facilitating patient flow, ensuring timely and accurate medical records.

Responsibilities include reviewing data with the ED team, transcribing notes and results, and maintaining complete patient records by shift end. Strong typing and medical terminology knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all scribe data is reviewed by the ED provider.
• Document history and physical as provider performs and relay to the scribe.
• Document procedure and treatment notes contemporaneously performed.
• Check progress of CT, ultrasound, labs; hand results to provider; nurse assists.
• Transcribe results after provider review.
• Review scribe data to ensure records are completed at end of shift.
• Scribe reports to Lead Scribe and/or Facility Medical Director.
