Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, FL seeks a full‑time Registered Nurse with critical care experience to assess, plan, and implement patient care. You will administer medications, monitor responses, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate must hold an RN license in Florida, BLS, and have ED/acute/critical care exposure. Relocation/sign-on bonuses are available, with a focus on patient safety and high quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or eligible
• BLS CPR certification required
• Experience in ED, Acute Care, or Critical Care preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced unit
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on findings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff within the unit.
