Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport in Florida is seeking an experienced ICU RN to join our night shift team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Required are RN licensure, ICU experience, EKG knowledge, and proficiency with EMR systems. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ICU experience required or implied for critical care nursing.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Windows-based programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are required.
• Ability to work as a team within a unit and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather health data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on findings.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans for optimum outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families on health conditions and self-care.
