Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift in the Emergency Department (Level III Trauma). This role coordinates and delivers patient-centered care, collaborates with physicians and nurses, and supports life-saving interventions.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with 0–2 years in clinical nursing and at least 1 year in ED preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in acute care.
• 1+ years of ED RN experience preferred.
• RN licensure is required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process and hospital policies.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Documents care in the medical record and reports changes to the care team.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and skill level.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions when needed.
