Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the Dryers (Night Shift, 12-hour) at the Sturgis, MI plant. You will work a rotating 12-hour schedule from 6:00pm to 6:30am, with weekends off every third week, and contribute to drying liquid product into powder, primarily infant formula.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dryer equipment to convert liquid product into dried powder.
• Learn operation of the Dryer and CIP (Clean in Place) systems and assist dryer technicians.
• Follow GMP and safety guidelines to stay compliant with OSHA and FDA regulations.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks and assist with routine maintenance as needed.
