Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. seeks dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized care in a licensed community residential facility. Join a nonprofit focused on empowering adults with disabilities and supporting daily living, personal care, and community participation.

We offer paid training, no experience required, benefits, 403b and AFLAC, plus a $500 NADSP certification incentive after 90 days. Schedule: Sun 7:30am-3:30am, Mon-Thurs 3:30pm-11:30pm, 40 hrs/week. EOE.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications
• Provide and maintain a Valid U.S. Driver’s License and be insurable under company policy

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging the use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
