Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on our fleet, keeping vehicles safe and on the road. You will use diagnostic tools and Penske training to enhance skills while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of engines, transmissions, differentials, and fuel systems, with opportunities for growth and advancement within a structured program and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools/tech to log, research and complete repairs including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Work on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
