Qualifications

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in engines, transmissions, differentials; OEM training; ASE 608/609 preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive Penske and customer vehicles.
• Strong problem solving, customer service and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles to keep customers safe and on the road.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske training.
• Work on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
