Performance Foodservice in Texas is seeking a skilled truck technician for a 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10pm–6:30am). You will diagnose and repair medium to heavy‑duty trucks, perform preventive maintenance, and document work orders to ensure road readiness. Road calls may be required.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy vehicle repair and experience with brakes, electrical diagnostics, and A/C refrigeration. Day‑1 benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in A/C refrigeration.
• PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnostic skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment and inspect components.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and related parts for safe operation.
• Ensure roadworthi- ness with proper licensing and registration.
• Document all repairs and PMs in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Install and repair onboard computers; use hand and power tools.
• Train other employees and perform road call services as needed.
