Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with state and federal regulations. The role may require road call work and extensive documentation of repairs.

Evening shift Tue-Fri, starting at 8:00 pm with an hourly wage around $30+ based on experience. Day 1 benefits, uniforms, boot allowance, and robust employer programs are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
• Experience with PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
• Inspect and ensure roadworthiness with proper licensing/registration.
• Document repairs and maintenance in the work order system; assist with road calls as needed.
