Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to diagnose and repair medium to heavy‑duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect brakes and steering, and document all work orders.

Road calls may be required to support our fleet in the region. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work Sunday–Thursday night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5-7 years of medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
• Experience with PMs, tires, wheels, brakes, and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify root causes of failures.
• Conduct road call services as needed and maintain accurate service records.
