Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) is hiring for an assembly associate in Byesville, OH. This role prepares HDEP engine cylinder heads for the remanufacturing process, performing visual inspections, and installing components such as freeze plugs and pipe plugs.

You will operate hand and air tools, follow Work Station Instructions, and participate in continuous improvement activities. The position offers onsite work with starting pay of $20.70/hr and top pay of $29.21/hr, plus benefits and

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Must maintain a clean work area.
• Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Cross train on other jobs as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate rottler seat cutting machine and air tools.
• Use jigs, fixtures, hoist, and hand tools to assemble components.
• Identify component parts by learning identification numbers and read work instructions.
• Contribute to safety, quality, attendance, productivity, and housekeeping improvements.
• Read and interpret drawings, BOMs and specs in electronic and hard copy.
