Job summary

Brook & Whittle LTD in the United States is seeking a die cutting machine operator to set up, operate, and maintain equipment to produce specified shapes from various materials.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, hand dexterity, and strong attention to detail. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with shift differential; schedule shows night hours Sunday to Friday. Overtime and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job jacket to ensure required materials and dies are available.
• Set up machine by positioning dies, aligning materials and adjusting settings.
• Test a run and obtain supervisor sign-off on positioning.
• Monitor output quality and conduct inspections against specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep machines operating efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and cooperate with other departments on projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, quality, cycle times, safety, cost reductions, and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies and complete duties as assigned.
