Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Medical Lab Technician I to perform routine and advanced clinical testing in Tulsa, OK. The role involves specimen processing, instrument operation, and quality control to support accurate patient diagnosis.

The technician will work on a night shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM), collaborating with a team and maintaining strict safety and regulatory standards. Contract position with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires CLIA/state regulatory education or equivalent.
• 12+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience per listing.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot lab instruments and analyze results.

Responsibilities

• Assess specimen acceptability and ensure proper labeling for analysis.
• Perform routine and complex lab procedures per SOPs.
• Run tests on patient samples using instruments and equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to minimize downtime.
• Review results for validity and determine need for repeat testing.
• Prepare and evaluate reagents and controls for accuracy.
