Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician for a swing shift to help operate, monitor, and maintain data center infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.

You will work with UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, and climate control systems, using BMS/EPMS/DCIM platforms to identify alarms and respond to issues. The role requires hands-on maintenance, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities, industrial maintenance, or related technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, CRAC/CRAH).
• Use BMS, EPMS, and DCIM platforms to monitor system performance, identify alarms, and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Complete preventive and corrective maintenance per schedules, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Follow SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs accurately and consistently.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, support incident response, and escalate as needed to maintain uptime.
