Job summary

Clear Creek Federal seeks a Tier 1 Data Center Technician in Lakewood, CO, for an onsite role supporting a federal client. This night-shift position runs 6:00 PM–6:30 AM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.

Responsibilities include monitoring critical systems, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining security and data center operations. Qualifications include a degree in IT or 1–3 years in enterprise infrastructure, ITSM tools experience (ServiceNow), and familiarity

Qualifications

• A degree in IT or 1–3 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure or data centers.
• Strong attention to detail and professional interaction with others.
• Experience with IT Service Management tools or ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the server environment for a Federal Government agency, ensuring availability and reliability of critical systems.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on system status and collaborate on issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot server problems with Systems Administrators and document all changes, issues and problems.
• Perform server reboots (physical and virtual) using VMware vSphere client.
• Ping, test, and open problem outages for resolution of server-related issues.
• Escalate complex issues to Enterprise Level 2 Operations Engineers for further investigation.
• Escort and monitor on-site un-cleared workers to maintain security protocols.
• Move data center equipment and assist with device and cable installation and removal.
