Job summary

E2 Optics, LLC is seeking a Construction/Project Manager to lead field teams on high-profile data center projects. You will supervise staff, coordinate with PMs and Estimators, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across sites.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of commercial construction experience (data center preferred), strong knowledge of codes and standards, and the ability to manage budgets and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction (structured cabling experience preferred).
• Experience in large data center infrastructure industry including technology, quality and safety standards.
• Minimum 3 years supervision and/or training experience, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
• Knowledge of general building codes and BICSI Standards.
• Ability to manage construction budgets in accordance with project bid and PM expectations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures on client sites.
• Assist Field Supervisors and Lead Technicians with planning material acquisition and scheduling projects.
• Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to field staff.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators and Sales Team to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate budgeted resources and schedules in accordance with bid and performance.
• Conduct frequent quality site walks to verify construction activities meet Quality Plan and client specifications.
• Lead job site resource organization and Lean initiatives across the site.
• Develop data center training, SOPs and work instructions to ensure compliance with Quality Plan and client specifications.
• Willing to travel up to 5% overnight as required by E2 Optics.
