Job summary

Csquare is seeking a 2nd-level Operations Technician for a 24/7 data center in Weehawken, NJ. The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical infrastructure, with on-call emergency response and weekend work required.

Responsibilities include performing building rounds, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring SLAs. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant certifications; 2+ years of mission-critical facilities experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certifications in critical facilities or data center field preferred.
• Two years of mission critical facilities operations experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass security clearance/background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; standing, bending and kneeling as needed.
• Willingness to work on-call, evenings, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical infrastructure per manufacturers' recommendations.
• Identify and troubleshoot root causes of problems.
• Perform building rounds to ensure site integrity.
• Assist and verify customer installation activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers at the data center.
• Monitor building management systems to ensure efficiency and SLAs.
• Provide on-call support and emergency response as required.
• Contribute as part of a project team and respond to requests promptly.
• Understand and implement methods of procedures (MOPs).
