Job summary

Scott Data Center in Omaha, NE is seeking an Overnight Critical Facility Engineer to monitor and respond to alarms affecting mechanical and electrical systems across the data center campus.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires basic understanding of electrical theory, HVAC, CMMS usage, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment failures. Night shifts defined as Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical theory and basic electrical safety.
• Familiarity with HVAC and boiler systems.
• Ability to use CMMS and Building Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alarms to resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Escalate unresolved issues to on-call engineers with clear problem statements.
• Perform routine cosmetic repairs and maintain documentation of fixes.
• Manage preventative maintenance and work orders with accurate timing records.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality per policy.
