Job summary

NoAK Management LLC operates a data-center focused team in Omaha seeking an Overnight Critical Facility Engineer to monitor and respond to alarms, maintain electrical and HVAC systems, and perform routine facility tasks.

The role involves on-call escalation, preventative maintenance, and documentation of repairs, with emphasis on safety, punctuality, and adherence to policies. A background in building engineering or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate preferred but not required.
• 6 months to 2 years in the building engineering, HVAC, electrical or mechanical may be considered in lieu of education.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• The Overnight Critical Facility Engineer is primarily responsible for responding to alarms to resolve issues with the mechanical and electrical systems operations for the Scott Data Center and upkeep of the remainder of the Scott Technology Center campus
• Escalate unresolvable issues to an on-call engineer for additional support by providing a clear problem statement
• Make routine cosmetic repairs to the facilities, such as painting, hardware repairs, etc.
• Manage assigned preventative maintenance and corrective work orders, including tracking of repair time and documenting fixes electronically
• Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality in accordance with the expectations established by your manager and NoAK Management LLC policy
• Other duties and projects as assigned
