Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician for night shift to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical facilities. You will manage stand-by diesel generators, 3‑phase electrical systems, UPS, PDUs, and cooling equipment, working across multiple sites as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and cost-efficient operations. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical facilities, the ability to travel between data center

Qualifications

1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Flexible work schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance, or 1+ years of mechanical facilities.

Responsibilities

Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Produce technical documentation to support change management.
