Job summary

Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Phoenix is seeking a CPP I/II to receive Cytology samples and perform processing for high complexity analysis under supervision. You will assist with compliance to CLIA '88, JCAHO, CAP and OSHA, and support instrumentation maintenance in a fast-paced lab.

This night‑shift role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a regulated, patient‑care environment.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Good reading, writing and math abilities are required.
Communicates effectively in oral and written formats sufficient to demonstrate comprehension.
Able to perform detailed work; work with frequent interruptions in stressful environment, multi-task, problem solve and memorization.
Able to take direction and assimilate instructions quickly.
Good organizational skills are also required.

Responsibilities

Receive Cytology samples and perform processing for high complexity analysis under supervision.
Assist with department compliance with CLIA ’88, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA.
Maintain instrumentation and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
Report to department supervisor as CPP I/II.
Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and confidentiality.
