Job summary

Sedona Staffing Services in Freeport, IL is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse by performing routine cycle counts of primary, reserve, and special locations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years in warehouse/inventory control preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS/ERP systems.
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker and other warehouse equipment.
• Lift up to 40–50 lbs occasionally, stand/walk for long periods, bend, reach, push/pull carts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work shift hours, possibly weekends or overtime during peak inventory periods or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled cycle-counts of inventory locations.
• Compare physical counts with system records (WMS/ERP) and document discrepancies.
• Investigate root causes of variances and collaborate with warehouse/operations teams to resolve.
• Use handheld scanners, RF equipment or other warehouse systems to record counts and locate inventory.
• Support periodic full physical inventories or audit activities as needed.
• Produce daily/weekly reports on counts, discrepancies, and corrective action status.
• Collaborate with shipping & receiving to ensure inventory integrity.
