Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking a Maintenance/Custodial/Custodian for Eastview Elementary School. You will ensure a clean, safe environment by cleaning classrooms, offices, hallways and restrooms, and by assisting with events and setup.

Role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders. Salary is listed as $26.07/hr plus night stipend, with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the school site.
• Cleans classrooms, offices, hallways, entryways, restrooms, and common areas regularly and after events.
• Dusts, cleans, and sanitizes surfaces including windows, desks, tables, countertops.
• Performs seasonal tasks such as stripping and waxing floors.
• Complies with health and safety codes (OSHA).
• Performs minor building maintenance including bulb replacement and basic repairs to plumbing/heating/electrical equipment.
• Sets up furniture and equipment for community use and school events.
