Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. The role involves performing janitorial duties, following daily schedules, and upholding safety and quality standards.

The position requires basic training (3–6 months preferred) and may involve forklift certification or driving as needed. A flexible team player with a professional demeanor is valued.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for the position based on business needs.
• May be forklift certified as needed.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work as part of a team with other employees.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
