Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Evendale, OH. The role focuses on the cleanliness and sanitation of all designated areas, performing janitorial duties and daily tasks on a specified schedule.

You will operate cleaning equipment, maintain the area, and report hazards to supervision. No formal education required; 3–6 months experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required. SBM offers benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work in a team with other employees and support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
